Wow, it's been a long time!

So, obviously, I've been a little lax on getting stuff on here. Sadie has taken almost every minute of free time that I had. OK, she's really not bad at all! She's much better now and is such a great dog. The kids love her (most of the time) too. Bret warms to her occasionally. We're trying to get her enough exercise in our arctic winterland. She loves chasing the kids down the sledding hill that Bret made with our new snowblower. Or digging in the snow or chasing the cats.

The kids are all doing great. All three are playing hockey and needless to say, we live at the hockey rink (which is outdoors). We are doing pretty well staying warm--layers and foot/hand warmers are the keys.

Maren's turned 6 (12/14) and lost both lower front teeth. She had the two upper front teeth pulled last year, so no apples for her. Her two bottom permanent teeth are coming in now and we feel the bumps for the uppers.

Connor's doing great in school and writing his own book (short story maybe?). He's reconsidering sharing a room with Brendan, but we'll have to see what happens with that. He's almost 9 (2/20), you know.

Brendan is obsessed with Star Wars and "electronics" aka video games. It's amazing how good he is.
